The Vision of Kingdom Treasures CDC

PURPOSE:  Through the LOVE of Jesus, we create and maintain a safe, healthy and secure learning environment for all the children that share their lives with us.

VISION:  To promote a positive self-image to each child by projecting the Word of God through the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  Being examples in our own lives as well as being open to learn from the children in our care.

Matthew 18:3-6

Remembering always that children are a heritage of the LORD and the fruit of the womb is HIS reward.  As arrows are in the hand of mighty men, so are children of the youth…

 Psalm 127:3-5

Our staff has been trained to supervise and monitor the safety of children in our care. We prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children in all classrooms. We help children keep and maintain good hygiene and hygiene practices. We assist in toilet training children at the age of 2 years old. We organize activities so that children can learn about the world and explore their interests. We work together to develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime during their stay with us. We watch for signs of emotional, social, and physical developmental problems in children and help bring awareness of the problems to the parents. We keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest throughout the year. Our center strives on doing our very best to serve our families the best way we know how.

Infant Program

Infant Program: Ages 0-2 years old

Our Infant Program is designed for ages 0-2 years of age. We incorporate circle time, story time, colors, textures, and bible stories into our daily routine. We also use the A Beka curriculum for ages 18-24months to introduce art to the children as well. The children ages 0 to 12 months will explore tummy time to help build gross and fine motor skills. The children between the ages of 12-24 months will be taught to hold their spoon while feeding and hold their cups while drinking.  We understand that this is a crucial time in a child’s life and we want to take as much advantage of it as possible.

Toddler Program

Toddler/Preschool Program: Ages 2-5 years old

Our Toddler Program is designed to help children learn toilet training. This is a joint effort between the parent and instructor(s). We incorporate the A Beka curriculum in our toddler program. Everything your child is learning is exciting and new! The A Beka curriculum gives your two-year-old a fun way to review their colors and shapes and develop hand-eye coordination while enhancing their thinking and listening skills. Arts and crafts give children a hands-on learning approach to daily concepts such as Bible stories, counting, animals, opposites, seasons, holidays, and more.

We introduce your child to basic phonics and numbers skills. We use age-appropriate, colorful exercises to help your child count and recognize numbers 1- 2. We introduce the recognition of all letters and the sounds that they make as well as how to count and recognize a specific number of objects. You and your little one will love the collection of Bible songs and preschool songs! “Jonah,” “Jesus Loves Me,” and “Only a Boy Named David,”  “Old McDonald”, “ABC’s and 123’s” are songs that are sure to keep your child joyfully singing.
